Narrative Writing: Story Starter

Welcome or maybe welcome back to my blog post!

Yesterday morning I had finished doing my story starter for my narrative writing .

What I did was I read all the questions I had answered and put those ideas into my story starter. But the thing is my story hasn’t been finished because I needed more ideas to add to my story.

Here is an image of my work that you can look at!
Hope this was okay,  i'm not really a story writer soo thats why its a bit ehh.

More Maths

Kia ora readers,

So this week I did some maths with my class. We did some effort about hearts that had ½ pink and ½ red. But some were still just red and just pink. It was in a google drawing so we had to do it online.

How it worked was we were split into 2 groups. First day one group goes with the teacher then the next day the other group goes, do you get the pattern? And if your team doesn't go with the teacher that means they have to do math work online.

Here’s an image of my work,
If you absolutely enjoyed looking at the screenshot and you're desperate to do one too then here’s the link! Click HERE to open the drawing and MAKE A COPY

Another Weekly Word!

Kamusta readers!

Today this morning I did my weekly word! and the word for this week is embarrassed.

I usually get embarrassed at least once a week I do. But anyways as you might know I had to use the dictionary again for me to complete my school work!

Here’s an image of my work,
Have your parents ever yelled your name or called you and there was a big crowd?

Writing Peeps!

Hi-ya peeps, how’s everything going?

So today I’m doing those stories again like the ones I did in lockdown.

If that’s a bit confusing for you then well what I’m trying to say is if you had seen my blog posts about writing at lockdown, those ones you know the ones that I had to answer some questions, sick sentence, sentence challenge, perfect picture and the story starter. Now do you know what I’m talking about? Cause I think evenee if you haven’t had time to look at my old stories, I think you might get it since I just kinda told you what I need to do but wait I only do one section a day and today I did the... QUESTION TIME!

Ok enough chit-chatting because now you can look at my work and maybe rate it I don’t know😅

If you enjoyed seeing my work today than maybe just maybe you can come back tomorrow to check out what I have been doing?

Certificate of Achievement!

Bonjour fellow humans,

This week, at maths time my class and I did a maths sheet online.

At the start of maths (after the bell rings) my class and I go straight to our chromebooks and go to our site, then we go to maths and press the button that says basic facts. after we press quick 10 on protec and then we do the sheet so yeah.

Click maths if you want to do one too!
and here is a screenshot of my marked work,
and here’s an image of how long and how much percent I got correct,
These images are the screenshots that I did the fastest on. The funny thing is that I kept on getting 92% every time and that’s why I didn't go right down the place I got a higher score.

Lockdown Learning

OMG hi everyone who's looking at this, I'm so happy that you are viewing my post!

So on Tuesday night I had finished my poster and it was fun to do.

I had completed it at night time because I couldn't do it on my device and so I had to ask my sister if I could borrow her chromebook for a little while and she said yes but I did have to convince her to let me. For me to do the poster I had to do it in venngage.

Here's a screenshot of my poster!
Sorry I had to do it two screenshots because my device couldn’t handle taking only 1 for this long.

Magic Maths

Hello amigos!

The day before yesterday afternoon, my class (room 9) and I did math work together.

Well we first looked at an image that had 3 shapes and each shape was different because they kept getting bigger and the shapes were like circles in a group. But  after we looked at it we made a copy of it in our google drawing and we had to write down what math things we can see and all that stuff. The challenge I faced was finding an answer for the questions and how to explain and write it shorter.

If you really want to do it to then here is the link so that you can make a copy and do one too,

And if you wanna see my work here's an image of it.
The part where it says, think big, might be a little confusing but hopefully you get it somehow.

Real or Not

Kia ora readers,

This week Tuesday I completed a task from reading and it is real or not one.

For today's work I had to read a narrative and the story I read was called, Nobody Laughed. It was about a kid named Aidan who had a bag that is the same as his class but his bag had every normal school equipment however he packed his favourite thing too, you might know what happens next….

Here are screenshots of my work,
If you had also read the book do you think it would happen to you too?

Word of the Week

Kamusta readers.

Today this morning I did my weekly word! For this week's word is compassionate.

The word of the week is a word that my teacher chooses for her class to find a definition, example and their own sentence of the word. I learnt from this week's word that it means feeling the struggles or pain that other people are in.

Here’s a screenshot of the word of the week that i have accomplished,
To me this was enjoyable to make and I hope you enjoyed looking at it too.

The Garden Bed

Kamusta mga tao,
(If you're not a Filipino then that means, hello people.)

If you don't know, today I will be sharing with you what i did for maths!

I did another mitre 10 math question and it was about building a garden bed to plant vegetables in. The questions were about the perimeter and how much all posts and planks cost?

Here’s my work completed,
For this, I had to ask my bro and dad to make sure my answers were correct even though my brother had a mistake on how much they cost, my dad helped and when my dad got mixed up from the perimeter my bro helped.

This is my Ukulele: A Poem

Kamusta fellow people.

I think I should tell you what I did for writing! So what I did was a poem about something that belongs to me.

What I mostly did was choose an object or something that I think belongs to me then I had to describe it and that’s mainly it. Here’s a hint, it has 4 strings and is a musical instrument. Did you get it?

If you did not here’s a screenshot of my work,
Now this kinda took longer than I thought it would but I think it was because that I didn’t know what thing I should use so I just played a small song and yeah that’s probably why.

Ronald Dahl

Hi friends,

Today for reading I read and answered questions about Ronald Dahl ohh and I wrote about me sharing what I did for reading to you.

Anyways, as you know I read and answered the questions and now I learnt lots of stuff about Ronald Dahl’s life, where he was born, what hobby he did and does things.

Here’s a screenshot of my work,
Did you know who he was? Cause I had no idea

Proving my Maths Thinking!

Hello everyone,

Today it's been really fun no idea why but anyways today i did my maths!
For maths once again I did the 3 ways to prove your maths thinking again it as you might know it's a different question.

Here’s a image,

This time I tried to do different ways but then again I only thought of one different way so yeahhh!!

Sentence Challenge

Kon'nichiwa watashi no yūjin,
(That means hello my friends in japanese but anyways thanks for vowing my post)

This day I continued with my writing task, if you have seen my last blog post about my writing you would know that I’m doing a story about a guy named Brian and his dogs grew and for me to continue my story I needed to choose a section about it like today I’m doing the sentence challenge!

And now i will be showing you a screenshot of the work I did,
Right now I don't know what to say except ummm I really hope this was visible in your imagination.

Amazing Maths

Aloha readers,

Today’s a lovely day for me to tell you what I did for maths!

For maths I did the 3 ways you could do to prove your natch thinking thingy. Again if you do not know what I’m talking about, it means when my teacher does a slide about 3 math questions that you have to choose one and find 3 ways you could prove your answer.

Here’s a screenshot of my work,
You know how this already has its question, I also have a question about it too and it is how many sisters does she have though?

Brian and His Dogs... the story

Anyoung haseyo everybody,

Today a few moments ago this girl..(me) had continued with her writing!

Well you know now that I continued with my writing work but you don’t know which one I did but I'll tell you though and I did the story starter. Since I had finished doing the sick sentence and the question time, I added the info there to my story starter but I didn’t finish it because there was still the sentence challenge and I was kinda planning to put the info from there in the middle.

Here’s the results.
Brian had often bought things from the market that had turned out to be the most outrageous, disappointing fakes. He had presumed that the magic biscuits would have been exactly the same. How wrong he had been.

One day while he was cleaning up the dirty dishes from the baking he had done and the pups were playing outside, a delivery guy had come and dropped off some treats for all of them. When he finally came outside to call in the dogs, he had also picked up the mysterious package. As he opened it the canines were chewing on the delicious meal that their owner had made especially for them.

The first thing he had picked up was a note that had said where it was from and it was from the shop were Brian buys his food for him and his adorable pets also if you do not know, that was the only shop that was near Brian's home since he lived kind of far from town and from his family.  The second object he saw was his treaty’s not the pups yet. They were mostly candy, fruits and lets say junk food too. But the last thing, the last thing he saw in the package was dog treats. He thought, since he hadn’t given treats to the dogs it wouldn’t hurt if he gave some now. A few minutes later hmm lets say 5, the adorable pups started to grow. They were watching a movie together with Brian so he knew right away he had to take them outside just in case they grew taller then the door or house. As soon as they grew larger than normal dogs would, Brian started to feel nervous that it would be a huge problem.

3 days had past and thank goodness they stopped growing but Brian still looked worried. However since the day the canines started to grow Brian knew that it couldn’t be the food he had given them both because he usually feeds them the usual all the time and 5 minutes ago he had fed them something new and random.

Is this interesting enough or is it a bit I don’t know a bummer?

Freezing Mr. Flint

Bonjour everyone,
(I’m glad you had time to look at my work space)

I will be talking about my reading progress.

A few hours ago I had read a book called Who Froze Farrell Flint. It is about an investigator well you know finding who froze Mr Flint (short way to say Farrell Flint.) after I read it I had to do an interviewing a character thingamajig I don’t really what it's called. It’s mainly about questions asking about the character.

Here’s an image of what you have to do on the first page.
If you had read the book I have a question for you, which character did you choose?

Brian and his Dogs

Kamusta writing,

I'll be sharing with you what happened in writing.

Today I continued with the new story but this time I did the question time one and by doing that I got some ideas to add to my story!

Here’s the results,
What had happened when Brian fed the biscuits to his dogs?
5 minutes later they started to grow.

How quickly did they grow to this size do you think?
3 days quick they grew fully size.

Did Brian give the biscuits to anything/anyone else?
After he noticed what was happening to his pets he knew it was the biscuits fault so he put them in a hidden place.

Have the creatures stopped growing?
Yes

How will Brian keep them as pets?
Brian lives far away from town so he lives near the mountains and he lives kinda far from anyone else sooo yeah.

What are the benefits/problems with having such enormous pets?
Buy lots of food, cant keep them inside, cant bring them in the car and some people will be scared of his pets.

Is there a way for Brian to restore his animals to their original size?
If his pets and him go to the top of a specific mountain they can get back to their normal life.

Do you think these are great ideas to add to the story?

Maryssa's Leis

Kamusta friends,

Today I will be sharing with you my work from maths.

For maths I did prove your maths thinking and ideas again. This one was about a girl who made ei necklaces. One day she collected 76 flowers and you need 24 to make 1 ei. The question was how many could she make in that amount.

Here’s a screenshot of my work!
I hope you liked how I did my work today and what ways would you answer this?

Wondering about Maths

Hi-ya every reader,
(I’m so glad your reading this)

Today is another day that I’ll share with you what my work looked like and what I did for maths!

For today’s task was about a grid that had small coloured square’s which altogether equaled 100 and there were 4 different colors they were green, blue, orange and pink but they did not share the 100 equally.

Here’s a screenshot now my work,
What other things do you notice or what math equations or questions could you think of?

Sick Sentences #2

Kamusta mga kaibigan ko,
(That means hello my friends and I’m thankful that you had come to look at my work)

Welcome to the place that I share with you what I do for my writing.

For today's lesson I did another SICK SENTENCE but in another story that I'll be sharing a little sneak peek once a day this week and I’m guessing only for this week.

Here’s my work in progress,
Is it great or is it not that good? Please tell me your honest opinion.

Another Word of the Week!

Kamusta adults and kids,
( I’m grateful that you came and are checking my reading for today!)

Today was another day that I had to do a weekly word. (if you don't know what the word of the week is, it is something my class does once a week and my teacher has to find a word for my class to find a definition and an example and a sentence for it.)

For this week's word of the week is…. Concerned! It didn't take me too long to find a definition and an example because I used that vocabulary dictionary once again. I learnt that being concerned is feeling worried.

heres a image of my work,
I hope today you learned a word too and that you had fun and had enjoyed my blog post.

Sick Sentences!

Hello fellow folks,
(Thank you so much for looking at my blog post!)

Today I was choosing another part of my story to share with you what I did for writing. Well you already know that I was choosing a section to do for today and the one I chose was the, sick sentence!

Here’s the results,

The girl hopped through the peaceful woods. There were metal items laced on the pathway. She was terrified!

Is this alright? What would you add or change to the sentence?
